Greets!  Now, don’t faint or harm yourselves in any form.  I realize that two posts in one week is shocking.  But I’m sitting here eating dry pancakes and reading email, so I thought I’d make another post before I jump into catching up on some work.

I’ve pretty much lost about a week’s worth of work due to being sick.  I’m feeling a great deal better now minus some stomach issues.  But for a several days I felt as if my entire body was going to fall to pieces.  My sinuses, my throat, my chest, my stomach, and even my poor Rudolph nose.  It’s not so much being sick that bothers me, but its feeling unproductive.  I hate not getting work done and slacking off.  I have a lot of people who rely on me and when I don’t get shit done, it blows fat donkey cock for everyone.  So now I am going to spend my entire weekend playing catch up.  I need to push traffic to the sites again.  I need to get promo work done.  I need to get new models going.  I need to do a ton of shit.  Yesterday, I managed to get our News Section completely revamped and updated so it looks good.  I’ve been wanting to do that for a long time now.

Now my spawn has the lovely bug I had, but not as bad … yet.  Cross your fingers for me.  Amazingly, while I was sick all week, he was really super easy to deal with.  Now that I’m feeling better, he’s back in butthead mode.  He has Monday and Tuesday off from school.  Depending on how he feels, I may take some much needed mommy time with him.  I feel like I’ve been neglecting him.

I came across this funny little charm called “May I Have My Spider Back” while reading up some webmaster forums.  I giggled and have to wonder what was going on in the mind of the woman who had to deal with that.

So how about that election!  Yes, I am an Obama supporter.  I tried to get my Spawn into it, but he isn’t having it.  My Spawn is half black so I think it’s important for him to understand the significance of how history has been made and he got to witness it.  Perhaps when he is older he will appreciate it more.  I’ve noticed that already so many reporters, news agencies, etc are already picking Obama part.  It’s frustrating to see that they focus on the negative so damned much.  Overall, I think Obama is going to bring some positive change to the country.  I can’t wait for him to take office.  Oh oh oh…that reminds me of this gem from HolyTaco.  It’s a letter from a Puppy to Obama’s Daughters.  I thought it was cute.

Anyway, back to catching up on work.  Try hard not to miss me.

What a very long week.  Our server migration took longer than expected, but we did it.  Now I am elated to finally begin building out more.  The site itself is much faster, we not only fixed bugs on the pchat software but we did upgrades and mods to it, and we are all set up with NATS so that we can offer our customers and our affiliates some killer stuff.  I am especially eager that our users won’t have to have fifty billion logins for the site.  I haaaaaaaaated that for our customers on CWH.  I work with some geniuses and I’m loving every moment of it.

So now I’m working on driving traffic again.  We didn’t push any traffic this week because of the move.  I was shocked to see our numbers sustained and even peeked a few times w/out us advertising.  Not only that, but in a month, we were able to pull off a PR ranking.  How crazy is that?  It’s just simply amazing to see things come together so nicely.  You ain’t seen nuthin’ yet, baaaaaaaaaaby!

I have a new addiction.  I have discovered Twinkle.  It’s fun and it’s cool to meet peeps around you using your iPhone.  I’ve had to cut back on it though, it’s super distracting!
