Who The Fuck Is Nerdlette?

Because I have so many “personas”, I needed a little something that wrapped all of us up into one nice neat little package.   Due to the nature of my work, I use a different name and online identity.  I’ve done that for years and I have my reasons for doing so.  Deal with it.  However, more and more the “real” me and the “online” me have mingled and mixed.  The two worlds are starting to blend a bit.  So whether you know me as the “brilliant web mistress and marketing guru” or as “the dorky mom who lurks in the shadows”, this blog sums up pretty much every part of me.

I’m often mistaken for being stuck up.  I’m really not.  I can be shy at times or just simply have nothing to say to people.  I tend to be blunt and most people don’t like that so I just keep my opinions and thoughts to myself in most social situations.  I have a temper and can be a vicious bitch when needed, which is rare.  Regardless, I consider myself to be a great friend to those I care about and I’m protective of those I love and adore.

I work in the adult industry as a Webmistress.  I have a knack for networking and marketing and helping to develop various adult sites, whether its webcams or solo models or whatever else.  I own and operate several websites, both adult and mainstream.  I have an incredible team of individuals that I have come to love and adore over the past few years (designers, coders, server gods, and more) that I consistently work with.  I love my work.  I love the freedom it gives me.  Prior to working in this area, I was in the legal field … and while I love law, I’ve found that this is where I belong.  The money is great, but not my motivation.  It’s a genuine passion for what I do.

Some people may choose to judge me based upon my line of work.  That is their loss.  Believe it or not, it’s the challenges that I enjoy, not the “sex” or the “porn”.  I enjoy seeing how far I can take a project.  I love learning new things about the industry, technologies, marketing, and social media.   I’ve had tremendous success in the past and expect to repeat it again on this new journey.  Not many people can say they “love” their job and mean it.  I am one of those few who can say it and mean it.

I’m a mom. I don’t like to discuss the spawn much simply because I don’t think that belongs on the internet. We have our special challenges. But we’re strong.  Nuff said.  I may or may not blog about them.  It will depend on my mood.  They are my heart and soul.  Even in all our daily chaos, they keep me grounded and grateful for all that I do have.

I’m allergic to men and relationships.  However, I decided to break into this area last year and have been pleasantly surprised by the presence of Mr. Mark in my life. It’s very early in it’s stages (yes, I consider a year to be ‘early’). We’ll see where it goes. I’m a very guarded person when it comes to men. I’ve dealt with domestic violence. I don’t like to talk about it. It’s over and done with. But yeah, I have trust issues.  Who doesn’t?

I’m very sexual.  No, I’m not a slut at all.  In fact, I am quite the opposite.  I believe in being safe and sane.  I’m picky.  I don’t bring men in and out of Spawn’s life.  I’m loyal to the one I love.  But yeah, with the right partner, I do have a kinky side.  I’m not going to go into details, but I do love the darkside.  But I do love a man who can cater to both that darkside and to my romantic side as well.  I’m diverse.  I love to try new things. I love to be challenged.  I love a man who can get inside my head and “get me”.  That’s the biggest turn-on.

So this is me.  I’m not stuck-up, nor do I think I’m God’s gift to the internet, but I’m very good at what I do.  I’m outspoken at times (at least online) and offer strong opinions.  Take it as you wish but I do value all feedback, both good and bad.  Don’t be shy.  I will grow on you eventually.
